North Dakota’s Communications Tower Succumbs to Fall

CAVALIER COUNTY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A communications tower collapsed, blocking a road in Cavalier County, North Dakota Tuesday morning.
we had a Communications Tower topple up in Cavalier County uh North Dakota this would be about nine miles south of Langdon or about four miles north of Nakoma this from the Cavalier County Sheriff’s Department today April 4th at 10 33 a.m uh Cavalier County dispatch received multiple 9-1-1 calls regarding a tower that had collapsed on Highway one and uh intersection of Highway 66. deputies arrived on scene it was determined a 300 foot tall radio communications Tower had collapsed when the tower collapsed it tore down several Rural Electric power lines and fell across Highway One the tower completely blocked Highway one making it impassable Cavalier Rural Electric arrived on scene and shut the electrical power down they also assisted in removing the tower from the roadway at approximately 11 45 a.m Highway 1 was cleared of debris a and was reopened I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
