North Dakota State Men’s Basketball Signs Riley Massey

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University men’s basketball program has signed high school guard Riley Massey to its 2025 recruiting class, head coach David Richman announced Wednesday.

Massey is a 6-foot-3 guard from St. Louis, Mo., and De Smet Jesuit HS.

“Riley and his family will no doubt be great additions to our Bison family,” said Richman. “He has the right combination of character and basketball versatility that has thrived here at NDSU. Riley brings a tough, competitive spirit and a drive to continue to grow his game that aligns perfectly with our Bison Basketball program.”

Massey averaged 14.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.5 steals in leading De Smet Jesuit to a 27-5 record and the Class 5 state championship last season as a junior. He shot 39 percent from three-point range, earning all-conference, all-district, and all-state honors.

Massey was also a first-team all-state selection in volleyball, winning the state title as a junior this past spring.
