North Dakota Man Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison for Assaulting Elderly Parents

MCVILLE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) A man has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for beating his elderly parents at McVille, North Dakota last summer.
52-year-old Darren Lyn Harter pled guilty under a flea agreement and has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for beating his elderly parents last July he gets credit for nearly a half of year already served in jail that 8-year prison sentence followed by 3 years probation here’s our original report following that July 10th incident we have new information regarding the attempted murder of elderly couple in macville North Dakota some 50 mies Southwest of Grand Forks Nelson County Sheriff Kurt Schwin told me it happened at the couple’s residence on the south side of mville and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal investigations was on the scene the couple was transported to a Grand Forks Hospital the sheriff also told us it was a family oriented incident but he hasn’t named the victims or suspect however he says the male suspect ECT was arrested on two counts of attempted murder uh he was arrested just down the road from the residence again harder now sentenced to 8 years in prison I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
