BUXTON, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The Highway Patrol has identified everyone involved in an injury, 2-vehicle crash near Buxton, North Dakota on Interstate 29 Sunday.

Incident Overview:
A rear-end collision on Interstate 29 in Traill County left two women injured and has led to potential charges against one of the drivers involved. The crash occurred under sunny skies with good road conditions, approximately 2 miles north of Buxton.
Vehicles Involved:
- Vehicle 1: 2012 Hyundai Sante Fe
- Driver: Zachary Roller, 24, of Reynolds, ND (Uninjured)
- Passenger: Kaydance Mays, 19, of Hope, ND (Injured)
- Details: Seatbelts worn, airbags deployed. The Hyundai struck the rear of the Chevrolet, causing both vehicles to swerve.
- Vehicle 2: 2000 Chevrolet Prism
- Driver: Alissia Hernandez, 29, of Grand Forks, ND (Injured)
- Details: Seatbelt worn. The Chevrolet ended up in the median facing southwest after the impact.
Emergency Response:
The North Dakota Highway Patrol, Traill County Sheriff’s Office, Reynolds Fire Department, Hillsboro Ambulance Service, and Altru Ambulance Service responded to the scene. The injured were transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
Investigation:
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Charges against the Hyundai driver are pending.
