Nissan Slams Subaru During Passing Attempt in St. Louis County – trfnews.i234.me

ARROWHEAD TOWNSHIP, MINNESOTA (trfnews.i234.me) – A crash occurred just before 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, on Highway 2 at Maki Road in St. Louis County, sending one person to the hospital.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, both a 2017 Nissan Rogue and a 2018 Subaru Forester were traveling westbound on Highway 2. As the Subaru attempted to make a left turn onto southbound Maki Road, the Nissan tried to pass stopped traffic behind it and struck the Subaru.

The Nissan driver, Cameron Elizabeth Crowley, 44, of Moorhead, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital. Two passengers, Clarissa Jo Crowley (43) and Harrison Cade Crowley (8), were unharmed.

The Subaru driver, Patrick Wade Marciniak, 58, of Cloquet, was uninjured.

Dry road conditions were reported. Responding agencies included the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Floodwood Ambulance.
