Nicollet County (trfnews.i234.me) – A crash occurred on December 8, 2025, on northbound Highway 169 at Milepost 71 in Lake Prairie Township, Nicollet County. The incident took place around 10:01 a.m. and involved a 2024 Dodge Ram pickup truck.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Dodge Ram was traveling northbound when it left the roadway and struck some trees. The road was covered with snow and ice at the time of the crash.

The driver, Elizabeth Ann Schavey, a 52-year-old female from Winnebago, MN, was not injured. Schavey was wearing her seatbelt, and the vehicle’s airbags did not deploy. Alcohol was not involved in the crash.
Passenger Judith Ann Johnson, a 78-year-old female from Winnebago, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to River’s Edge Hospital. Johnson was also wearing her seatbelt, and no alcohol was involved in the incident.
The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
