Miranda Lee Timm, 22, Newfolden, has been charged with the introduction of contraband into a jail facility.
At the time, a jail sergeant was conducting a search in Timm’s booking room. She was an inmate at the time, according to the complaint.
During the search, Timm allegedly handed a small bag of methamphetamine to the jail sergeant. The bag had been in Timm’s underwear.
The meth was then turned over to the sheriff’s office and brought to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension laboratory for analysis.
That analysis has since confirmed the substance was meth.
