Pennington County Traffic Stop Leads to DWI Arrest
THIEF RIVER FALLS (trfnews.i234.me) — A Newfolden woman was arrested after a late-night traffic stop in Thief River Falls. The incident occurred at approximately 1:39 a.m. on October 9 near the intersection of Second Street and Main Avenue.
According to police, officers stopped a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Amber Julia Arlien of Newfolden. During the stop, Arlien was cited for driving while intoxicated (DWI) and taken into custody.
The citation listed her reported Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) at .14 Authorities did not release further details about the stop or any additional charges. No injuries or property damage were reported in connection with the incident.
The Thief River Falls Police Department continues to remind drivers of the risks of impaired driving, even at low alcohol levels.
