we have an update now regarding the fire at uh sim plot on gateway driving grand forks on this saturday morning only eye news brought you video from the scene uh now this update from the fire department quote 904 am this morning grand forks fire department was dispatched to 36 30 gateway drive for a propane tank that was on fire the tank was located on the south side of the jr sim plot on the exterior of the building uh fire crews arrived on the scene to find a large amount of fire coming from a 1 000 gallon propane tank close to the structure crews kept the fire from intruding on the building while keeping the tank cool crews were able to shut off the valve on the tank and mitigate the fire j.r simplant was able to resume operations uh shortly after the fire department responded with five fire engines one truck one command vehicle and 20 personnel no employees or fire personnel were injured the fire department was assisted by the grand forks police department and altru ambulance i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
