NDSU Wrestlers Headed to USA Wrestling World Team Trials

FARGO, N.D. – Four North Dakota State wrestlers will head to Omaha, Nebraska this weekend to compete in the 2024 USA Wrestling Senior World Team Trials.
 
Aiden Brenot, Kyle Burwick, Clay Radenz and Kody Tanimoto, who will be competing as part of the Bison Wrestling Club, are all set to compete in the event, which takes place September 13-15 at the MECA – CHI Health Center Omaha.
 
Brenot (92 kg) and Burwick (61 kg) will wrestle in the freestyle competition. Brenot, a redshirt freshman, went 9-9 in his first season in Fargo. Burwick is a former 5-time North Dakota champion who returns to his home state as a senior transfer with 40 career wins at Nebraska and Wisconsin.
 
Radenz (72 kg) and Tanimoto (55kg) are slated to wrestle in the Greco-Roman brackets. Radenz, a junior, has 28 career wins in three seasons in Fargo. Tanimoto is a true freshman, coming off his second Texas state championship and a Greco-Roman title at Fargo nationals this summer.
 
The four NDSU wrestlers will be joined by fellow Bison Wrestling Club member Ezekiel Witt at the event.
