The North Dakota State University men’s cross country team posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 for the 2023 season, earning the All-Academic Team award from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
This is the 12th consecutive year that NDSU claimed the team academic award. The Bison men have had 31 straight semesters with a team GPA above 3.0.
The NDSU men tied South Dakota State for first place at the Summit League Championships in October, before falling by the tiebreaker rule and bringing home team runner-up honors. It was the highest conference meet finish for Bison men’s cross country in 41 years – since NDSU won the North Central Conference title in 1982.
