DETROIT LAKES, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Baxter, Minnesota woman has been charged with 5th Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct in connection with an incident at a Detroit Lakes motel pool last March.
Diane Lynn Brussawitz of Baxter, Minnesota made her first appearance in Becker County Court in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on this Thursday. She’s facing two counts of gross misdemeanor, criminal sexual conduct, fifthderee nonconsentual sexual contact. And we’ll just read you the statement of probable cause. On March 15th, officer of the Detroit Lakes Police responded to a uh motel in Detroit Lakes on a report of a female in the pool inappropriately touching males in the pool. Officers spoke to an identified male who stated that he and another adult male had gone to the pool at approximately 1000 p.m. A woman later identifies as Bruceitz got into the opposite end of the pool end of the pool. Bruceitz began to make her way towards victim one and put her hand on the victim’s leg. Bruce then moved her hands towards the victim’s genitals, wrapping her hand around and cupping victim one’s penis. Victim two stated that Brussitz had done the same thing to him. Victim one and two were both wearing swimsuits at the time and the contact was on the outside of the clothing. Victim one and two told Bruceitz to stop multiple times and attempted to gently push her away. The officer attempted to speak to Bruceitz, but she appeared to be too impaired to move and was slurring her words. An officer also attempted to call Brussit uh multiple times the next day to get her statement, but there was no answer. She’s now made her first court appearance scheduled to appear again in June. Of those two charges of criminal sexual conduct are a gross misdemeanor that carry a maximum sentence up to 364 days in jail.
