Multiple Crashes and Vehicles Stranded on Interstate 94 in North Dakota

NORTH DAKOTA (trfnews.i234.me) The Highway Patrol says there were dozens of crashes and vehicles stuck on a large swath of Interstate-94 across North Dakota Saturday afternoon.
we’ve had more than a dozen crashes and people in the ditch on interstate 94 across north dakota on this saturday afternoon this in from the highway patrol who says they responded to multiple traffic accidents extending from richardson to crystal springs rain combined with cold temperatures caused extremely icy conditions for traveling the areas involved are the following in the richerton area three crashes two jackknife semi semis and one passenger car rollover uh numerous cars pickups and commercial motor vehicles stopped in all eastbound lanes of the interstate traffic was backed up for approximately two miles uh the new salem sweet briar lake area one semi car crash investigated three semis stuck in the ditch too stuck on the roadway numerous cars pickups and commercial motor vehicles stopped on the roadway traffic was backed up for approximately two miles west of new salem in the westbound lanes and backed up for approximately two miles from the sweet prior exit in the eastbound lanes for vehicles that could not move on the icy roadway and in the steel crystal springs area four commercial motor vehicle crashes four semis stuck in the ditch that had to be towed jackknifed semis completely blocked the westbound lanes near crystal springs for approximately two and a half hours the complete closure and other partial block blockages led to traffic being stopped on the roadway until all the scenes could be cleared and we had multiple uh first responders and law enforcement agencies responding to all those crashes i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
