MONTICELLO, WRIGHT COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — A three-vehicle collision on westbound Interstate 94 near Milepost 194 in Monticello caused one injury during a wet road afternoon commute on April 17, 2025, at 3:30 PM.

The crash involved a 2014 Dodge Dart, a 2010 Ford Fusion, and a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas—all heading westbound when the accident occurred.

While the drivers—David Andrew Nyberg (55, Monticello), Kenneth Alan Bloch (72, Big Lake), and Robert Bruce Gut (75, Monticello)—were uninjured, Bloch’s 71-year-old passenger, Ann Harriet Bloch, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Despite this, she did not require hospitalization.

All individuals involved were wearing seatbelts, and no airbags deployed except in the Volkswagen Atlas. Alcohol was not a factor, and CentraCare Ambulance responded to the scene.

Did you know? Wet pavement contributes to nearly 70% of weather-related crashes in the U.S.—drivers should increase following distance and reduce speed during rain.
