Mounds View, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — A 26-year-old Lauderdale man, Frank Lor, has been charged with criminal vehicular operation after allegedly driving drunk and crashing a sedan into a sound wall on Highway 10 near I-35W on the night of May 30.
According to the criminal complaint, Lor’s female front-seat passenger was found unconscious with severe head injuries and bleeding from multiple facial areas. She was hospitalized with a brain hemorrhage and broken ribs and remains in intensive care.
Troopers arriving on the scene found Lor nearby, partially covered in blood, but uninjured. He admitted to “kind of drinking” but couldn’t recall how much. Field sobriety tests confirmed impairment, and a breath test revealed a BAC of 0.155.
Lor was arrested and is being held on one felony count of criminal vehicular operation while under the influence of alcohol. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.
