Nobles County (trfnews.i234.me) – A terrifying motorcycle crash occurred Tuesday evening, June 10, on Interstate 90 in Olney Township when a tire blew out on a 1989 Honda Gold Wing, sending the vehicle and its two riders careening into the median.
The incident happened at 6:23 p.m. near milepost 31 on eastbound I-90. Authorities say the motorcycle suffered a tire failure, causing it to roll into the center median.
The driver, 35-year-old Adam John Baker of Brandon, South Dakota, and his passenger, 39-year-old Mary Bess Johnson of Sioux Falls, were both wearing helmets and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to Worthington Hospital for treatment.
Responding agencies included Adrian Police, Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Rushmore Fire Department, Adrian Ambulance, and Adrian Auto.
