Eyota Township, Olmsted County (trfnews.i234.me) – A Rochester couple sustained non-life-threatening injuries after their motorcycle struck a deer and crashed in a ditch on Monday evening, July 7, 2025, at milepost 224 on Highway 14 westbound.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Charles Logan Behrens, 46, was operating a 2022 Harley FLHXSE with passenger Amber Lynn Behrens, 41, when they collided with a deer and veered off the road.
Both were transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester for treatment. Neither was wearing a helmet, and no alcohol was involved. The roadway was dry at the time of the incident.
Emergency services from the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), Eyota Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance responded to the scene.
