Motley Crash at Hwy 10 Truck Stop Sends One to Hospital | trfnews.i234.me

Motley, Morrison County (trfnews.i234.me) – One woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Motley on July 7, 2025, around 4:23 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 10 and Highway 210.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Bernard David Nelson, 49, of Ham Lake, MN, was driving a 2007 Subaru Legacy and failed to yield while exiting a truck stop. Nelson’s vehicle struck a 2005 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Julie Ann Logering, 62, of Staples, MN.

Logering was transported to Lakewood Health Hospital in Staples with non-life-threatening injuries. Nelson and his passenger, Tanja Marie Nelson, 49, were not injured.

No airbags were deployed, and no alcohol was involved. Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.

Emergency response came from the Motley Fire Department and Staples Ambulance.
