MORTON COUNTY, North Dakota (trfnews.i234.me) – A fatal one-vehicle rollover crash claimed the life of a 51-year-old Mandan man in the early hours of Saturday, July 5.
Authorities say the crash happened around 2:40 a.m. on County Road 139A, about one mile west of Highway 25. The victim was driving a 2015 Dodge Ram 3500 eastbound when he failed to navigate a curve, sending the pickup into the north ditch, where it overturned.
Emergency responders from the Morton County Sheriff’s Office, Mandan Rural Fire Department, and Metro Ambulance arrived quickly, but the driver—who was not wearing a seatbelt—was pronounced dead at the scene.
Road and weather conditions were good, and the crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
