PIERZ, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Authorities in Morrison County, Minnesota, are on the lookout for a poacher and vandal who has been wreaking havoc near Pierz. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office received reports on Wednesday about illegal deer poaching and multiple complaints of vandalism, including street signs, mailboxes, and electrical boxes being shot in the Harding area of Platte and Pulaski Townships.

Deputies investigating the scene discovered a deceased deer with a 12-gauge shotgun wound, likely shot from the roadway. They also found numerous damaged mailboxes and street signs, along with shell casings scattered across various locations.

The only lead authorities have on the suspect is a description of a loud, older model truck. The incidents, believed to be connected, occurred early Tuesday morning between 12:30 and 1:00 a.m. and again on Wednesday morning around 4:00 a.m.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
