More Arrests in Pennington County Over Pipeline Protest

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A heavy law enforcement presence at a pipeline protest camp south of Thief River Falls on this Wednesday morning. Two protestors had chained themselves to equipment in an effort to stop construction.
breaking news out of pennington county minnesota on this uh wednesday morning uh more line three protester arrests this is just south of uh thief river falls along the red lake river where enbridge pipeline is boring under the river here um according to radio traffic at least uh two protesters uh had locked themselves with sleeping dragons to a uh a i couldn’t get a real good shot of the action here it’s behind a screened-in fence about those sleeping dragons it’s a device that basically makes it tougher for law enforcement to get them unchained from equipment but they do in a news release from the water protectors they also say three more people were arrested in hubbard county south of uh park rapids on tuesday they say in all uh more than 600 people have now been arrested uh protesting the line three replacement project in the meantime enbridge pipeline says the project is 70 percent completed and they expect to have it uh up and operating by the fourth quarter of this year i’m neal carlson reporting for trfnews.i234.me

  1. Seems like to me the workers just just need to go about the job. Hey if the idiots don't want the consequences, they shouldn't chain themselves to the equipment. Those machines will continue just like as if the protesters were not there. The mess will mostly dissipate into the dirt as they do thier jobs anyway.
