Clay County (trfnews.i234.me) — On May 28, 2025, Nikki Lynn Pons, 57, of Moorhead, was arrested and charged following an alleged knife attack on a man near Highway 10 and 30th Street North.
According to court documents, a deputy responded to a 911 call reporting a woman attempting to slash a man’s vehicle tires. Dispatchers overheard the man telling the woman to back away, but she continued to approach him aggressively.
Upon arrival, the deputy detained Pons and recovered an orange folding knife. The victim stated that Pons had confronted him near a bench by the Golden Living Center, yelling at him to leave the property. As he attempted to depart, Pons allegedly chased him with the knife.
Pons has been charged with felony assault with a dangerous weapon, misdemeanor assault, and disorderly conduct. She was booked into the Clay County Jail at 6:46 p.m. on May 28, 2025.
