MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Dale Alvin Berneking, a 79-year-old resident of Moorhead, Minnesota, has been charged with criminal indecent exposure. The charges stem from an incident on June 24, 2024, when police were called to 1418 12th Street North in Moorhead. They found Berneking sitting in a lawn chair, reading a newspaper with his genitals exposed.
Berneking admitted to officers that he was aware of his actions and found it arousing, despite being on a busy street in full view of the public. One witness reported that their minor child also saw Berneking’s indecent exposure. Berneking is now facing a gross misdemeanor charge for indecent exposure in the presence of a minor under 16, as well as a misdemeanor charge for indecent exposure.
