DILWORTH, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A 36-year-old Moorhead man, Tyler Ryyth, is facing serious charges after allegedly stealing $92 worth of items from a Walmart in Dilworth. According to court documents, on June 8th, Ryyth was seen entering a bathroom with merchandise and later exiting without the items, which were possibly concealed. An officer confronted him outside the store and recovered the items.
Ryyth, who had previously been trespassed from the store and was not allowed on the property, now faces felony charges of burglary and possession of burglary tools, in addition to misdemeanor theft. What could have been a simple shoplifting charge escalated due to his trespassing status, leading to the felony charges.
