Waldern Roger Lacroix, 49, of Moorhead, is facing felony theft charges in Becker County District Court after allegedly stealing $1,467 worth of merchandise from a Detroit Lakes Walmart on December 3, 2023.
According to court records, Walmart surveillance footage captured Lacroix loading a cart with various items, including trail cameras, camping gear, knives, laundry pods, and more. Lacroix then exited the store through a fire door and ran to his vehicle, where two accomplices were loading other stolen items. They transferred the goods and fled the scene, leaving behind a trail camera and a fragrance gift set.
Lacroix’s next court appearance is scheduled for October 28, 2024, before Judge Michelle W. Lawson.
