PARK RAPIDS, MN – Dylan Paul Scott, of Moorhead, Minnesota, is facing felony burglary and misdemeanor obstruction charges after allegedly breaking into a shop in Park Rapids on February 19, 2025.
According to court documents, at 10:39 p.m., law enforcement was dispatched to 10834 Impression Road in response to a reported break-in. Upon arrival, officers discovered that:
- A shop had been broken into
- Items had been stolen
- Tracks in the snow led to a nearby residence
Following the footprints, officers confronted Scott at the residence, where he struggled with law enforcement before being arrested.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
Scott now faces:
- Felony Burglary – Entering a building without consent and committing a crime
- Misdemeanor Obstruction of the Legal Process – Resisting arrest and interfering with law enforcement
Scott remains in custody as he awaits his court appearance.
