MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A Moorhead, Minnesota man is once again facing serious criminal charges for domestic violence. Randy Lee Silvis, 34, is accused of assaulting a woman despite an existing protection order.
According to court documents, on June 23rd, officers responded to a domestic assault report at a Moorhead apartment. The female victim reported that Silvis allegedly choked her and pushed her against a wall. At the time of the incident, there was already a court order in place prohibiting Silvis from contacting the victim.
Silvis is now facing three felony charges: domestic assault by strangulation, domestic assault within ten years of a prior conviction, and violation of a protection order. This marks a serious escalation in Silvis’ criminal history, given the severity and repetition of the offenses.
