Moorhead Man Charged After Domestic Incident
MOORHEAD, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) — A Moorhead man is facing multiple criminal charges after a domestic disturbance at a local residence on October 23.
According to court documents, officers were called to a Moorhead home after an argument between a woman and her ex-boyfriend, identified as Christopher S. Cushman. The female victim told police that Cushman became aggressive when asked to leave the residence. Moments later, he allegedly returned, kicking at the door and trying to force his way inside.
The victim reported that Cushman threw her phone and knocked her to the ground during the confrontation. Officers arriving on the scene gathered witness statements and evidence consistent with the woman’s account of events.
Following the investigation, Cushman was taken into custody and charged with two counts of felony burglary, along with misdemeanor domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call.
Police say the incident remains under review as prosecutors consider additional details from the case. No further injuries were reported.
