Detroit Lakes (trfnews.i234.me) – A routine police dispatch turned into a felony arrest in Becker County after Jerry James Garbow-Bush, 30, of Moorhead, was found to be a wanted fugitive from North Dakota.

According to court documents, on June 11, around 6:41 p.m., Detroit Lakes police responded to reports of someone digging through a dumpster near 1651 Highway 10. Officers identified the man as Garbow-Bush and discovered he had an active warrant in North Dakota. He admitted to being the individual named in that warrant.

On June 13, Garbow-Bush waived extradition and agreed to be transported back to North Dakota to face the outstanding charges.

This arrest highlights how even minor incidents can lead to major law enforcement actions when warrants are involved.
