Moorhead (trfnews.i234.me) — A Moorhead man, Travis Early Ironbear, 19, is facing a series of serious charges following a violent incident that occurred on April 1, 2025. According to court documents, officers were dispatched to an apartment in Moorhead just before 11 p.m. after reports of an assault involving a knife.
Upon arrival, a female victim reported that Ironbear had allegedly shoved her and her baby and threatened her with a knife. The apartment, home to seven residents, became the scene of a struggle during which another individual sustained a cut to the hand while attempting to subdue Ironbear. Ironbear fled the scene before police arrived.
Law enforcement officers later located Ironbear, who allegedly threatened to shoot the officers before being taken into custody. No firearm was found during the arrest. Ironbear was booked into the Clay County Jail at 1:58 a.m. on April 2, 2025.
He now faces multiple charges, including:

Second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.

Domestic assault causing great bodily harm and/or use/threat with a weapon

Interfering with an emergency 911 call

Child endangerment; the situation could cause harm or death
These charges comprise three felonies and additional gross misdemeanor and misdemeanor offenses.
