Safety reminder for slick stretches
Consider alternate routes if delays grow. Use local streets only if they are clear. Give snowplows plenty of room.
Slow down before curves and ramps. Leave more space between vehicles. Avoid sharp steering and hard braking.
Keep your lights on in snow. Buckle your seat belt every trip. If you see a crash, call 911.
If you are stuck, stay in your car. Run heat in short bursts. Keep an eye on your tailpipe.
If you have safe video from a distance, do not stop in traffic. Use the next exit to pull over. Only share clips if it is safe.
We are seeking information
If you were at the scene, share what you saw. Include the time and the direction of travel. Do not post private medical details.
