MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A man and woman have been charged with the murder of a child in Moorhead, Minnesota. On March 18th, Moorhead police began investigating the death of three-year-old Easton Deronjic after responding to a medical call for a child not breathing in the 1500 Block of Beasley Boulevard. Following an ongoing investigation and recently received autopsy results, Shiann Erickson, 21, and Rosa Garza, 24, both of Moorhead, have been booked into the Clay County Correctional Facility on second-degree murder without intent charges.
The Clay County Attorney’s Office issued warrants for their arrest, and both were taken into custody this morning without incident. The younger sibling involved in the case remains in protective custody.
