Moorhead Burglary Suspect Found Sleeping After $300,000 Equipment Theft

MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A 43-year-old man, Cesar Longoria, is facing multiple felony charges in Clay County, Minnesota, after being found asleep in a stolen truck filled with $300,000 worth of equipment. On June 24th, officers responded to a burglary report at a machinery business in Moorhead. Surveillance footage captured Longoria inside the building and showed a truck driving out, loaded with a crane generator, a welder valued at $200,000, and an additional $100,000 worth of tools.

Law enforcement located the stolen truck parked inside a quonset hut in rural Clay County, with Longoria sleeping in the back seat. He is now charged with two counts of theft and one count of burglary.
