Moorhead Bank Robbery: Suspect in Custody

MOORHEAD, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – The First International Bank at 865 37th Ave. S in Moorhead, Minnesota, was the site of a bank robbery on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 8:20 a.m., according to Police Captain Deric Swenson.

A masked individual entered the bank and implied that they had a weapon. They then proceeded to take an undisclosed amount of cash from the bank’s vault.

Following the robbery, police quickly apprehended a person of interest at the Bison Plains Lodge located at 3621 8th St. South. The suspect was taken into custody less than 20 minutes after the incident occurred.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the robbery or subsequent arrest. However, the investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to gather more information about the incident.
