Monday Night Shooting in Fargo Turns into Murder Investigation

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Monday night shooting in Fargo has escalated into a murder investigation after the victim succumbed to a gunshot wound to the face. The suspects are still at large.

On Monday at 8:16 p.m., Fargo police were dispatched to the 2200 block of 6th Avenue South following a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a victim with severe injuries from a gunshot wound to the face. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, the victim was pronounced dead.

Fargo police have stated that the identity of the victim will be released after next of kin have been notified. Initial investigations and witness interviews suggest that the involved parties were known to each other. The Fargo Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is working diligently to gather more information about the incident.

Authorities are searching for two vehicles seen fleeing the scene: a gray Hyundai Santa Fe with North Dakota plates 628 DZR and an orange Jeep Compass with unknown plates. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
