Monday Night Car Chase Stemming from Devils Lake Theft

DEVILS LAKE, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Two suspects are awaiting formal charges, following a Monday night pursuit of a stolen car from Devils Lake.
a vision from the benson county sheriff’s office near leeds north dakota west of devils lake uh monday night at 10 30 the benson county sheriff’s office deputies were notified that a vehicle was stolen from a private residence in devil’s lake uh within 15 minutes uh deputies observed the vehicle and attempted attempted to stop it on highway 2 near church’s ferry the vehicle fled from deputies at over 100 miles per hour with tire deflation devices utilized to flatten three tires and then running off the road into the ditch two suspects fled into the ditch over railroad tracks and into a field and hid in tall grass west of leeds uh canine a canine along with his handler and a cover officer were deployed to track the suspects k-9 aries tracked the two suspects down in the ditch across train tracks into a field and hiding in tall grass both were taken into custody and transported to the devils lake law enforcement center for charges and outstanding warrants i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
