Ward County (trfnews.i234.me) – Minot Police have issued an arrest warrant for murder following a fatal stabbing earlier this month in northeast Minot. The investigation involves the death of Anthony Redmond, who was found stabbed on the morning of November 7.
A spokesperson for the Minot Police Department confirmed that officers are now seeking 30-year-old Chozey Morsette. According to officials, an AA-felony murder charge has been filed in North Dakota district court, and a warrant for Morsette’s arrest is active as of Thursday.
Investigators have not released additional details about the events leading up to the fatal stabbing, but police say Morsette is considered wanted and should not be approached by the public.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on his location to come forward. Officers say even small details could help advance the ongoing investigation into Redmond’s death.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Minot Police Department at (701) 852-0111. Police stress that members of the public should not attempt to contact or detain Morsette. Instead, they should call law enforcement immediately.
This case remains active, and investigators expect to release further updates as new information becomes available. The stabbing marks one of the most serious violent incidents reported in Minot this month, and detectives continue to gather evidence and follow leads.
TRF News will provide additional coverage as the investigation progresses.
