On Thursday afternoon, a dog named Loki found himself in a dangerous situation, trapped in the cold waters of the Souris River. Responding swiftly, Dive Rescue Team member Aaron Zabka, along with the Minot Fire Department, Police Department, and animal control officers, jumped into action.

Thanks to their coordinated efforts, Loki was pulled safely from the water, then dried off and warmed up before being reunited with his relieved owner.

The dramatic and emotional rescue was captured on video, highlighting both the bravery of first responders and the unbreakable bond between pets and their humans.
