Narrative

On June 21, 2024, at approximately 8:00 PM, a 2019 Kenworth Semi driven by Iurie Midari was traveling east on Highway 2 near mile marker 148. A 2019 Chevrolet Cruze, also traveling east, struck the rear end of the semi’s trailer. The driver of the Chevrolet Cruze, a 48-year-old male from Minot, ND, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained serious injuries. He was transported to Trinity Hospital in Minot for treatment. The driver of the Kenworth Semi, Iurie Midari, was not injured. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
