MCLEAN COUNTY, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) -A 21-year-old man from Minot sustained serious injuries after crashing his snowmobile in McLean County on Saturday, January 25. The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 PM near the intersection of Highway 83 and 21st Street NW, about 7 miles south of Max, ND.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the man was riding north in the west ditch when he struck an embankment, causing the snowmobile to vault. Emergency responders transported the rider to Trinity Hospital via ambulance.
Officials confirmed the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, which likely prevented more severe injuries. Despite this, his injuries are classified as serious.
