24 year old James Lovejoy has been charged with felony Corruption of a minor in Devils Lake North Dakota according to court documents on May 13 police were called to check on the welfare of a 16 year old girl in Devil’s Lake she reported she was sexually assaulted by James Lovejoy in the early morning hours at his residence in Devils Lake the criminal complaint says during an interview with police Lovejoy admitted to having sex with the girl but said it was consensual he also admitted he knew the girl was underage and he’d had sex with her other times since February of 2023.
