Clay County, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A disturbing case has come to light involving Adam James Drake, born March 22, 1983, accused of multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct in Moorhead, Minnesota. The County Court has filed serious charges against Drake based on probable cause, indicating his involvement in sexual offenses against a minor female victim.
According to court documents, Drake is charged with three counts of felony criminal sexual conduct, including penetration of a minor aged 14-15, use of coercion, and unlawful sexual contact. The offenses allegedly occurred between March 1, 2025, and May 30, 2025, in Clay County.
The investigation was initiated after a social services maltreatment report revealed that a 15-year-old girl disclosed to her friend and therapist that Drake had attempted to assault her. Detective K. Schultz from the Moorhead Police Department interviewed the victim, who described disturbing incidents at Drake’s residence, including inappropriate touching and coercive sexual behavior. The victim also provided evidence through a forensic interview, depicting Drake as a tall man with blonde/brown hair and blue eyes.
Further evidence was gathered from digital communications, where Drake sent the victim explicit images and messages, requesting her to send similar photos. The case highlights the severity of allegations and the importance of protecting minors from sexual predators.
The court has issued an order of detention for Drake as the investigation continues. This case underscores ongoing efforts in Minnesota to combat and prevent juvenile sexual abuse.
