Matanah, is facing two serious felony charges after allegedly engaging in illicit conversations with a minor via the internet. According to court documents, he has been charged with soliciting child through electronic communications to engage in sexual conduct and distributing via electronic communications material that relates or describes sexual conduct to a child. The alleged victim is a 15-year-old girl whom Matanah reportedly asked for explicit photos and requested her to have sex. During questioning, the suspect claimed he was not in the right state of mind while committing these acts. Additionally, Da’Jon D. Matanah had an outstanding felony arrest warrant from Douglas County, Minnesota at the time of his apprehension.
