two men are safe following another ice rescue this one on an Lake this would be uh Northeast of monel Minnesota off I94 in Sherburn County uh this from the Sherburn County Sheriff two men who were fishing on an Lake were rescued Friday evening after going into the water according to sheriff Joel bro firefighters from Z zimman and Leonia rescued the men who were brothers age 59 and 63 they were taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons uh they pushed a flat bottom boat onto the lakes’s ice and worked their way out about 70 yards from Shore when they broke the uh thin Lake ice pushed the boat into open water and began to fish later they tried to push the boat back into the ice and fell into the lake a man who was outside letting his dog out heard the men cry for help and called 911 and one more reason to stay off the uh Minnesota lakes for a while I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
