  1. Nothing is free but i believe most people support feeding children at no cost to them. Feeding adults in perpetuity is not helping.

  2. Look at all the dkholes below. Sure, kids are just the worst. It's an investment in education. Kids can 't learn, when they're hungry. Government spends money for the benefit of its constituents. YOU may not have children in school, but you benefit from Walz, and the Dems having made my state MORE attractive to businesses – a well educated worker base.

  3. Maybe nice CAMPAIGN contributions from school food distribution companies in appreciation for the extra money that they can charge now that the government is paying.

  4. Perhaps if we could keep more of our paychecks instead of the government taking 25% off the top, we could better decide how to feed our families, pay our bills, etc. The government is a paper shredder. If a private accountant managed a budget the way our government does, he would be fired on the first hour of the first day of the job.

  5. There are programs available already for people who need breakfast and lunch, both during the school year and the summer. Just because Minnesota has an abundance of money right now doesn’t mean it always will. So much food is going to be wasted because of this!

  6. They should be required to weigh the waste food trash cans to report how much is wasted. I've seen how much kids throw away after lunchtime. Elementary kids are probably the worst.
