Clay County, MN – Steven Perry Freland, 25, has been listed as a wanted fugitive as of July 8, 2024, according to the Minnesota Department of Corrections (MNDOC).
Freland was sentenced on November 17, 2023, for assault-related offenses under case numbers 14-CR-23-3518 in Clay County and 56-CR-21-1326 in Otter Tail County. He was released on June 10, 2024, but failed to comply with his supervised release conditions and is now wanted by authorities.
His supervising agent, Almir Jupic, and law enforcement officials are requesting public assistance in locating him.
