authorities are still searching for a suspect who broke into a rural Backus minnesota home last week and got a surprise from the homeowner Bacchus is 60 miles south of Bemidji yes the homeowner did shoot at the person at his residence so um which I really don’t want to talk about but but it did occur so we’re we just you know we want people to be vigilant our neighborhoods if they see something suspicious let us know you know and and obviously don’t put yourself in harm’s way you know just protect yourself and your family and keep your doors locked but if you see someone or something strange let us know as soon as possible the suspect got away with this life and is still on the run the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has now released this sketch of the suspect he’s described as six feet five inches tall with a very large body and you know once we arrived we had found that the homeowner I gave us a description of a white male that had entered his residence and that kind of initiated this search so we’ve done we have responded to several public you know public reports of possible sightings we have not identified a suspect at this point but we we can we still continue to get reports from the public so we’re continuing to follow them up Keith obviously stepped up you know on patrol in the area just in hopes to catch up with a person obviously if you have any information about the possible identity of this suspect you’re asked to contact law enforcement immediately I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
