Minneapolis Police & Trump Administration Clash

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A clash over police reform between Minneapolis and the Trump administration.
The US Department of Justice has moved to dismiss a consent decree designed to guide its troubled police department in Minneapolis. A two-year investigation by the Department of Justice, which was launched after the murder of George Floyd, revealed that the Minneapolis Police Department engaged in a pattern of racist and abusive behavior that violated resident civil rights. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry calls the move political theater from President Donald Trump. The Trump administration is a mess. They had every opportunity to move forward a dismissal in the months previous to right now, but instead they delayed. It is predictable that they would move for a dismissal the very same week that George Floyd was murdered 5 years ago. Uh I says whether the case is dismissed or not, Minneapolis will move forward and comply with every sentence and every paragraph of the 169page consent decree signed earlier this year. The bottom line is this. People should expect us to do this work. People have been demanding for years that we do this work. And we’re not going to let them down.

  1. It is NOT The Minneapolis Police that are failing here , They are doing what they are told to do .
The failure lies totally in our leadership at The City Level , County Level and even at The State Level .
Crimes in Hennepin County and in Minneapolis especially are mishandled constantly .
