Minneapolis, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — A terrifying domestic violence case unfolded on March 22, 2025, in north Minneapolis where 31-year-old Lue Xiong allegedly shot his wife with an AK-47, refused to help her, and later set multiple fires in their home with their six children inside.
According to a Hennepin County criminal complaint, Xiong was high on drugs and paranoid when he accused his wife of cheating, then shot her in the leg. Instead of seeking help, he made their kids bandage the wound and threatened to shoot police if they were called.
Throughout the day, Xiong reportedly spoke to walls, claimed to see demons, and started fires in multiple areas of their home. All six children, ages 8 months to 14 years, fled with their mother. Police found guns, meth, and gas containers on-site.
Xiong faces first-degree arson, second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, and more. He could face up to 20 years in prison.
