The driver of the Tahoe, 26-year-old Skyler Daniel Miller from Isle, was also involved in the crash but was uninjured. He was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence (DUI) after authorities determined alcohol was involved in the incident.

Emergency responders from the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Office, the Isle Police Department, the Isle Ambulance, the Isle Fire Department, and Anderson Brothers Towing were on the scene. The roads were snow and ice-covered at the time of the crash, which may have contributed to the accident.

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are expected to be filed against Miller.
